Importing a Trial Balance into QuickBooks Online (U.S.) is essential when setting up your books, closing periods, or migrating from another accounting system. Connect Your QuickBooks Online Account:
Please login to QuickBooks Online
Search for "SaasAnt Transaction"
Click "Get App Now."

Authorize the connection between SaasAnt and your QuickBooks Online account
To import Trial Balance into QuickBooks Online from an Excel file using the SaasAnt Transactions (Online) application, follow the steps below
1) Login to SaasAnt Transaction Online
2) Navigate to Bulk Upload and select the QuickBooks Entity as “Trial Balance”.
3) Select the files you want to upload
4) Set up the Mapping of the columns in your "Trial Balance" and click Review
5) Click on the “Preview" button to visualize the current mapping based on QuickBooks.
6) Once the mapping is finalized, proceed with Upload.
7)The data has been successfully uploaded into QuickBooks Online.
Field Name | Field | Description |
Trial Balance No | Decimal | The reference number for the transaction, used internally by SaasAnt Transactions. QBO auto-generates a new value by default. |
Account | Characters | Account Name |
Account Subtype | Characters | The account subtype classification is based on the AccountType value. |
Account Type | Characters | A detailed account classification that specifies the use of this account. The type is based on the Classification. |
Description | Characters | A description of the transaction. |
Name | Characters | Customer, Vendor, or Employee associated with the line, if any. If the Account is Accounts Payable, the Debit line must have a Vendor. If the Account is Accounts Receivable, the Debit line must have a Customer. |
Amount (Credit or Debit) | Decimal | The line amount, with debits as positive and credits as negative. |
Debit Amount | Decimal | The debit line amount. Use the "Amount" column for a single amount column. |
Credit Amount | Decimal | The credit line amount. Use the "Amount" column for a single amount column. |
Date | Date | The date of the transaction. |
Currency Code | The currency code used for the transaction. |
