SaasAnt Transactions (Online) for Xero provides various import settings that can be customized to suit your data import preferences. These settings help control how data is processed when importing Excel or CSV files into your Xero account.
If enabled, SaasAnt will automatically create list entities (like customers, suppliers, product/service items, or accounts) in Xero if they are not already available during the import.
Specify the date format used in your import file. This ensures dates are interpreted correctly when importing into Xero (e.g., DD-MM-YYYY).
Enable this setting to allow SaasAnt to identify and map your chart of accounts using the Account Code from your Xero file, rather than the Account Name.
If turned on, you will receive an email summary after each import, detailing the number of successful and failed transactions.
When enabled, SaasAnt will use the reference numbers (like Invoice No., Bill No., etc.) provided in the file. If this is turned off, Xero's default numbering may apply.
Choose how taxes are calculated for the imported transactions (options will be based on your Xero tax configuration).
Enable this to treat each row in the file as a separate transaction. Useful when your file contains one transaction per row.
If a reference number is missing in the file, SaasAnt will generate one automatically based on Xero's settings.
When enabled, SaasAnt will show an error if there is a mismatch between the payment amount and the corresponding invoice or bill amount.
If this setting is on, SaasAnt will use the Tax Number field in your import file to match customers in Xero.
Enable this option if you want SaasAnt to update customer or supplier addresses in Xero based on the values in your import file.
If turned on, SaasAnt will automatically email invoices to customers after they are successfully imported or updated in Xero.
Enable this to pull and use the existing sales and purchase descriptions for products/services directly from Xero during import.
Choose whether auto-created items should be of type Non-Inventory or Service.
Specify the account name or account code in Xero to be assigned as the Sales (Income) account for any auto-created items.
Specify the account name or account code in Xero to be assigned as the Expense account for any auto-created items.
