Delete multiple item receipts in QuickBooks Desktop using SaasAnt Transactions Desktop to fix duplicate inventory entries, erroneous vendor receipts, or data import mistakes. This method allows for filtered searches, secure backups, and regulated bulk deletions. It helps accountants and bookkeepers maintain correct inventory valuations, vendor balances, and records that are ready for audits.
QuickBooks Desktop is set up, and the company file is accessible.
Admin permissions for the company file are required.
SaasAnt Transactions Desktop is installed.
The company file must be opened in QuickBooks before you can connect.
Download the latest SaasAnt Transactions Desktop version.

Launch SaasAnt Transactions Desktop
Connect to your QuickBooks company file
Go to the File menu
Click Connect to QuickBooks
Allow access permission in QuickBooks when prompted

On the left panel dashboard
Select Delete

Choose QuickBooks Search
Set QuickBooks Type → item receipts
Enter required filters (date type)
Click Search

The matching item receipts will show up in the results list
Review and select the required item receipts with checkboxes
Click Download (located at the bottom left) to save a backup in Excel or CSV format.
Click Delete at the bottom right.

A confirmation pop-up appears
Click OK to proceed

Deleted item receipts appear in the SaasAnt dashboard
You can download the deleted records using the Download option in Excel or CSV format.

Open QuickBooks Desktop → Vendor Center → Transactions → item receipts - confirm item receipts are removed.
Go to the File menu, click Connect to QuickBooks, and allow permission when QuickBooks requests authorization.
Select QuickBooks Search, set the transaction type to Item Receipts, apply date filters, and then click Search.
Yes, click Download to export the chosen item receipts into Excel or CSV for audit security.
Deleted records show up in the SaasAnt dashboard and can still be downloaded.
