Use the SaasAnt Transactions Desktop to efficiently delete multiple deposits in QuickBooks Desktop. This method enables accountants and bookkeepers to connect securely, apply filters to search for deposit transactions, back up selected records, and permanently delete them in bulk. It helps in correcting posting errors, eliminating duplicates, and maintaining precise bank reconciliation records.
QuickBooks Desktop is set up, and the company file is accessible.
Admin permissions for the company file are required.
SaasAnt Transactions Desktop is installed.
The company file must be opened in QuickBooks before you can connect.
Download the latest SaasAnt Transactions Desktop version.

Launch the SaasAnt Transactions Desktop, and connect to your QuickBooks company file.
Go to the File menu
Click Connect to QuickBooks, and allow access permission in QuickBooks when prompted.

This secure link allows SaasAnt to read and adjust deposit transactions in the selected company file environment.
On the left panel dashboard, select Delete.
This section is meant for deleting transactions in bulk.

Choose QuickBooks Search
Set QuickBooks Type → Deposits
Apply filters, including date range or transaction criteria, to refine results.
Click Search to get all deposit records that match for review and deletion.

The matching Deposits will show up in the results list
Review and select the required Deposits with the checkboxes
Click Download (at the bottom-left) to save a backup in Excel or CSV format.
Click Delete at the bottom right.

A confirmation pop-up appears; carefully review the count and details.
Click OK to proceed.
SaasAnt will permanently delete the selected deposits from the QuickBooks Desktop company file.

You can download the deleted records using the Download option in Excel or CSV format.

Open QuickBooks Desktop → Reports → Accountant & Taxes → Voided/Deleted Transactions. Set the filter for Deposits and the specific Date Range to identify removals.
Accountants delete deposits to fix duplicate entries, reverse erroneous postings, and ensure accurate bank reconciliation and financial statements.
Go to the File menu, choose Connect to QuickBooks, and authorize access permissions in the QuickBooks authorization window.
Once confirmed, SaasAnt will permanently delete deposits from the company file, and there is no option for automatic restoration.
There is no automatic restore available; you need to re-import deposits by using the backup files you downloaded earlier through the SaasAnt import function.
