How to fix the SaasAnt Transactions Connection Permission Issue with QuickBooks Desktop?

Connection Issue with QuickBooks Desktop


When we try to connect the SaasAnt Transactions Desktop application after resetting or recreating a QuickBooks company file. you may get the following error:



This application has not accessed this QuickBooks company data file before. The QuickBooks administrator must grant an application permission to access a QuickBooks company data file for the first time.


This issue can be fixed by following the below steps.


Solutions


Method 1: Delete and re-pair as admin


1. Log into QuickBooks as the admin user.


Switch to single-user mode.


With QuickBooks Click on Edit—>preferences and click on integrated application



4. Find the application under company preference and click "Remove"



5. Open the SaasAnt application and click on the file menu and click on connect to QuickBooks.



6. Click "Yes", always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running"



7. Click "Login as" & select "Admin" and hit "Continue"



Method 2: Login and sync as admin


1. Log into QuickBooks as the admin user.


2. Switch to single-user mode.


3. Go to the Edit menu and click Preferences.



4. Highlight the Integrated Applications preferences and make sure the Company Preferences tab is selected.



5. Click on the row that says SaasAnt Transactions, and click properties.



6. Check "allow this application to read and write the company file and allow this application to login automatically". We recommend choosing admin in almost all situations.



7. Click "OK" to close out and save the preferences.



8. In SaasAnt application, Click on the File menu and click on Connect to Quickbooks.



Note: If all the above steps fail to kindly follow the below steps to fix the error message


Method 3: Delete & add the user


1. Login to Quickbooks, click on the Company, and click users and click setup users and login.



2. Select the user and delete the user



3. Add the user again.


 


4) Open the SaasAnt application and click on the file menu and click on connect to Quickbooks


 

4. Click "Yes" always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running"


5. Click "Login as" and select "Admin" and hit "Continue"



6. Log out and log in as the user in QuickBooks.


7. Set the Password for the user login


8. Click on Connect to QuickBooks in the Saasant application and the SaasAnt will get connected with QuickBooks.
