How to Map file data in SaasAnt Transactions (Desktop)?

Each HEADER from the FILE needs to be mapped to relevant QuickBooks Fields to seamlessly import the data.

What is QuickBooks Field?

We have named the fields available in  QuickBooks Window based on its functionality. QuickBooks Fields will vary based on each type of transactions. We have explained in detail about each field in the corresponding import articles.

How to map the Fields?

After you upload your file, you will see the field mapping screen in SaasAnt Transactions (Desktop). Here is the example of field mapping screen.

Left Side of the page contains your “QuickBooks Fields” and Right side of the page contains File Headers You need to select the File Header against respective “QuickBooks Fields”  if it is needed.

 If you want to know more about that field, click or mouse over  "?" (Icon). It will display the details about the field.

Can I Save my Mappings?

Of course! You can.

Sometimes, you may receive the files via different channels (3rd party software, manually entered & etc.). So, you need to save the field mappings for each file types.

You can save these mappings by clicking “Add / Save Mapping”. You can select the required mapping from your saved mappings list.

To make it simple for you, “SaasAnt Transactions (Desktop)” will save your mappings automatically even if you missed to save the mappings. “SaasAnt Transactions (Desktop)” remembers everything.
