Do you have some transactions cluttering up your QuickBooks that you need to ditch? No worries, the Delete feature is here to save the day! With SaasAnt, you can search for and delete data straight from QuickBooks, no matter how it got there. You can delete based on a date search (if you recall when the transaction was created, modified, or its transaction date) or using a reference number; it's all in your hands. Just choose your transaction type or list, set a date range and type, then click search or search by reference number, and you're all set!

Alright, here's the deal: click on the Delete option and decide how you want to get rid of your data. If you go with delete by searching, it helps you pick out and select the stuff you don't wish to use advanced filters. But if you opt for delete by reference, it enables you to track down and remove unwanted items using reference numbers or names. Easy as that!

Delete by Searching:

You can use this option to delete data by applying search filters like transaction type, date range, and date type. You'll also get a chance to preview the data before deleting it. For instance, choose 'Created Date' if you remember when the transaction was entered into QuickBooks. Or, if you know the specific date the transaction occurred, select 'Transaction Date.'

Here's how you do it:

Step 1: Click on the drop-down and pick the Transaction/List you want to delete.

Step 2: Select the correct date type.

Step 3: Pick the Date Range for what you want to delete.

Step 4: Hit the Search button, and voila!

Step 5: You'll see the filtered transactions from your QuickBooks. Just click Delete.

Note: To play it safe, be sure to download your data before deleting it. Once it's gone, you can't undo the deletion.

Step 6: Our application will ask again for confirmation to delete them. Click OK, and you can make transactions from your QuickBooks.

Step 7: Once the transactions are deleted from your QuickBooks through SaasAnt you’ll get a confirmation prompt.

Step 8: Click on the Show Results option. The deleted transactions will be displayed after the successful deletion.

Limitations for Delete:

• List: Contacts, Items, Accounts & other lists can only be marked as inactive, not permanently deleted.

• Reconciled Transactions: Transactions that have been reconciled and matched cannot be deleted.

• Deleted Contacts: Transactions associated with deleted customers or vendors cannot be deleted.

• QuickBooks Limitation: Transactions imported via QuickBooks Bank or PayPal Integrations cannot be deleted due to QuickBooks limitations.

Workaround: If transactions are unreconciled or unmatched from QB's Bank/Checking account, those transactions can be deleted.
